Lev gives you two ways to find lenders: Recommended (Lev's suggestions) and In Network (your existing relationships). Here's when to use each.
Recommended Lenders
What they are: Lenders Lev suggests based on your deal criteria, even if you haven't worked with them before.
When to use:
- Expanding beyond your usual lender base
- Deals in new markets or asset types
- Finding lenders with specific expertise
- Discovering new lending sources
Pros: Access to lenders you might not know. Data-driven matching. Discovers active lenders in your deal type.
Cons: No existing relationship. May need to build rapport.
In Network Lenders
What they are: Lenders and contacts you've already added to your network, either imported from email or added manually.
When to use:
- Deals that fit your usual lenders
- When relationships matter most
- Repeat business with proven partners
- Time-sensitive deals
Pros: Existing relationship and trust. Faster responses typically. Known lending criteria.
Cons: May miss better-fit lenders. Limited to who you know.
Best Practice: Combine Both
Recommended Mix
For most deals, use a mix: 60-70% In Network lenders (relationship-based) and 30-40% Recommended lenders (expand your reach). This balances relationship leverage with market coverage.
How to View Each
- Toggle between tabs: Use the tabs to switch between Recommended, In Network, and All Lenders
- Filter within each view: Apply filters to narrow results in either view
- Add from both: You can select lenders from both tabs—they'll combine in your outreach list
